Our History
Our historic Victorian building was originally built in 1857 and then subsequently three separate additions were added. The first addition was added approximately 100 years later in 1957, while the second addition was added in the 1970’s. The building was then purchased in February 2002 and a complete renovation was started to transform the Victorian mansion into the premiere day spa it is today.
Le Jardin opened its doors in the Spring of 2002. As the community flourished, so did Le Jardin and five years after opening the facility was again expanded adding an additional 6,000 square feet. Today, Le Jardin Day Spa and Salon is the quintessential elegant facility that provides a host of professional services in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
The French term Le Jardin means “The Garden”. This name was chosen to represent the powerful, uplifting element of color, growth and expansion in life. The symbol of the leaf in our logo not only further reflects the garden theme but it also includes the incredible symbolic metamorphosis it goes through as it transforms into an elegant, beautiful piece of nature. We strive to replicate that natural, beautiful transformation with an emphasis on personal attention to each guest. We also try to always surround the facility with lush, colorful flower gardens to help ease you into a relaxed state of mind before you even enter our award winning facility.
